Santa Fe Baldy (elevation 12,622 ft.), the highest peak within the Sangre de Cristos rises to the east along with the slopes of the Santa Fe Ski Basin. The west embraces the vistas of Los Alamos and the south encompasses views of Tetilla Peak and the Sandia and Ortiz mountain ranges.
